Do you mean Cocktail or Ceremony? Isn't cocktail time in the Ballroom where all the main events takes place? Why would you need that system there?

There are times when I have 2 or even 3 systems to set up... ceremony in one place, they move to another for cocktails and then inside for dinner/dancing,,, at this event it was just the last two for me as the ceremony had live music.

The laptop is a "Acer Netbook" a Costco special, I have VDJ on it and a couple of music folders, background, jazz and a dance one just in case.... I just come out of the headphone jack....

I don't know about that.... $145 to hold a laptop is just stupid. I could make something totally respectable for $15.
Yep it is not hard to make at all. A metal mesh shelf (to keep it cool), Two C Clamps in the back to keep it from swiveling or weld it to the C Clamp and viola, it is done.

I know everyone has a welder! LOL ;) and not sure how you would put 2 c-clamps back there.... but yeah,,,, :)

I have access to one as well as a carpenter :D :D :D I had fun putting the roll cage in the red Stang :D

Easy. Use your imagination. Flat piece of metal. preferably a mesh shelf. A L Bracket, bottom part with holes to secure the shelf, vertical part with two holes to accept the two C Clamps!. You can use one but you will have to use "star" washers to secure the nut & Bolt to keep it from swiveling downwards. Weld or two Clamps is more secure.
