question about ADJ accu fog 1000

Hey guys, have a question for anyone who knows the answer. I just bought an American DJ accu fog 1000 moving head fog machine, what i would like is to, in real time, control the head with a joy stick and be able to turn on/off the fog. it is dmx so whould the Elation Lighting DMX-OPERATOR-192 Dmx Light Controller with Joy Stick be what im looking for to do it? I do have a USB DMX adapter would there be a usb joystick I could use instead maybe?

Problem with a USB joystick is you would still need something that translated the movement to DMX commands. It may be possible with a software DMX controller (like Show Express), but the easiest is as you list, a DMX controller with joystick. Cheaper than the Elation would be the ADJ DMX Operator series or the Chauvet Obey 70.
