Any one have any idea what to play for the dinner hour?My bride said she would like some christian dinner music. It's a first for me.

Did she give you any artist/song examples?

I've done this a couple of times since I have the PO Christian sub. I'd go somewhere online to compile a listing of current (within the past couple years) top songs/artist and go with that.

Look to your WOW! cds. They've got quite a bit of current stuff...some preachy, some not. Also, Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith are good choices. Something else to think about, some of Josh Groban's stuff can work well paired with contemporary christian stuff.

Can you tell we've done a few where we've had to work this in durring dinner?

That word "some" needs to be clarified. It could be two songs...it could be 12 songs...

Ask her...and since she wants some during dinner, does she want any played later on? Better to know now than on the day...

Kari Jobi is great for dinner music, play it almost every wedding.
Francesca Battistelli is good as well.
