These lists are pretty good but I have always had songs on those lists that didnt work at all in my region. I played Build Me Up Buttercup New Years eve and had the greatest of success but never had much response to it any other time over the years. I have recently been asked and played other times. Knock Three Times - Tony Orlando and Dawn. There is a dance associated or line dance as it appears to me called the Slosh. I dont think its on this list but a pretty decent response song the few times I have played it outside of it being requested.

We keep our own list comprised of a few of our suggestions, but mainly of previous client's choices. I kind of think it better reflects the local market.

I customize the one shared with regional cuts and ones that arent asked for or bit on in past events but I do keep a copy of this one as well as you never know when that one song might be the right one for the moment.

i use what I have compiled over the year

using others really doesnt work all that good as everyone has different tastes

This list is a good generic for what was popular in various decades. I use it as a resource for Brides & Grooms to pre-select songs for their dancing segments...but, they are not limited to only this list. It's there for reference.

Thats not actually correct. Its a list that represents what is still currently popular from various decades.

I use a few of these. Now that I don't have CD jewel cases to look at, I need something visual to spark an idea now and then. I don't consider them to be the be-all, end-all, final word...just an idea generator.
Lists are always good for those "I haven't thought about THAT song in a long time" moments.
