Ok the back story... I have a program that will break down a directory/drive full of mp'3s and not only does the normal stuff like artist, album, song title but also by genre. The program is a bit buggy (does not like very large directory especially if it has many sub directors (like if your music directory is split up into albums) the program is called mp3explorer. So for the fun of it I ran a search of my music hard drive using Windows 8 search built in search engine, I typed dubstep, not only did it find songs with the word dubstep in the name but also if the mp3 was properly tagged it also found it by genre. Next i tried by bmp and it found sounds by bmp also. I tried the same search on my Windows 7 box and it did not do this. So if your mp3's are properly tagged you can search them by any word or phrase embedded in the tag using Windows 8 search engine. What do you think of this feature?
