They are awesome, all of the iTech amps are, but have the same issue that I brought up in another thread and that is the tremendous power output needs tremendous power input. This unit will pull up to 33 amps at 1/3 power pink noise, which means you can't run it on a normal 15/20 amp circuit. These require either separate connection into a fusebox or access to a high current twist-lock outlet, not normally found at non-club venues.
If you have your own distro equipment or have either the license to connect to a panel or have access to the proper outlets, these (and the Lab.Gruppen, Powersoft, etc.) amps can do things that others can't .. otherwise, if you are stuck with 20 amp circuits and can only draw what a PLX2 or RMX or XTi can use, why pay the premium.

Wait, ya mean a pair of them won't work if I plug it into the house and string the 100 foot power cord from my electric mower out to a tent? 
My eyes are always open for a deal on a PL340 and came across a great deal on a PL380 but had to pass because I have zero regular venues where I can plug it in.
I've been very happy with my distros and they're smaller than what I built some time ago. I just open my secondary panel, plug them in, install the corresponding 250 AMP fuses on the panel, close, turn on main panel and then the secondary panel and voila.
Just saw this .. here's it's baby brother (1500w x 4 at 4 ohms) and it will work on a normal circuit .. though no fancy screen up front .. and I think around $400 ... http://www.behringer.com/assets/NU4_6000_WebBRochure.pdf

I have some Behringer stuff including the RMX2450 clone and they've been good but I also love all my QSC (3602's) and Yamaha (P7000S) arsenal and wouldn't change them.
Never had a Yamaha amp (had a pair of S115s though), but had a Crown XTi and a couple of Crest amps (and my current PLX3602, 3102 and 2502).
I'm a QSC guy with some oriental influence. I have several QSC RMX's as backup,a Spanish made power amp (Musicsson) which has been rock solid for 15+ years and now the PLX2's. I got curious about the Yamahas and Jeff Romard convinced me to try them. I like them and I run several configurations where I choose different amps to run different speaker combinations. As with Mustangs this hobby have been a very fun hobby .

I love QSC amps also. I still have 2 PL 4.0's and a PLX 3002. They have age but they still pound and kick ass. These may be my last set of amps because I think they will out last me.

Houston, the band my roommate is the production manager for uses those pair with JBL SRX series tops and subs.....I have never heard anything more clear and powerful in my life....well worth the money if you have it to spend
So true! The SRX series sounds tight and sweet when the amps are dialed in correctly. A rig like that will go 15 years with no issues.
I will take a picture of their set up and post it on Sunday (I am shooting them again for a bar deck opening then)....their rig is quiet impressive
