DN MC6000 HELP!! Just got this thing

Anyone know why my Denon MC 6000 outputs the sound from all the channels on one volume control???? in other words,, it s not allowing me to cue the songs or listen to the cue while the other song is playing,,, it plays thru on channel A even though I only have the B side volume up

I have one of these, however I'm not experiencing this problem. Any number of things can be doing this. I would suggest you read the manual carefully, make sure your sound settings and sound card settings are correct, and also register your MC6000 with Denon and download and install the latest firmware.

What Dj software are you using?

Arr you able to cue in your headphones?

Have you installed the ASIO drivers?

What about your fader settings on the mixer?

There are a number of reasons for your issue all related to an incorrect setup either physically or software... Read the quick setup for the software mixer setups.

Yeah we need more info. What DJ software you are using, what ASIO version you have... are you using it in all MIDI, or a combination? Did you check the switches in the back and make sure everything is set correctly? You need to set it to PC MIX if you are running any MIDI channels.
My first thought is that you don't have the channel matrix switches set to different channels. For instance, I use mine as an all MIDI controller, so all 4 channel selectors are on MIDI. But when/if I need to hook up something like a CD player, I just change the input selector to LINE (1,2, etc).
Second thought is the ASIO drivers. You should update to 2.20. If you can't find it online (believe me, its harder than it should be), I can send it to you.
