How much would you charge for all of this?

I was given an idea from another DJ what he charges for all of this but just wanted to see what others here would charge if they were to offer this for a wedding.

A bride is looking for a DJ to come do their wedding. They want a DJ that will come do their wedding and also provide these things for their wedding. They want a photo booth, uplighting and 2 tv screens. I was given a price another DJ would charge. I'll post that later on. What would you quote a bride for providing all of that for their wedding?
 
We don't offer those extras, but I will say the responses on here will probably vary region to region.
 
How much Uplighting, what size TV Screens, what will be shown on the screens,what is the timeline of the Wedding, is there going to be a Ceremony included, extra system for the Ceremony? These are the questions for which I would want answers before I give a Quote.
 
I'm assuming you're meaning wedding reception, not ceremony itself. Assuming it's fairly local and doesn't require much mileage, we'd be at $3000-3500 for the DJ & System which includes 2 large screens, $1000 photobooth, $1000 uplighting. I'd give them a competitive bid of perhaps 4999 to beat out Brendan.
 
The price i was given that a DJ said he would sell it for would be $3,500.00. Uplighting would be 10 and if there was more needed for the room the price would go up. He said the photo booth would be $1,1000.00 of which we get $100.00. The screens would cost $400.00 but you would charge the client $600.00. Which we would get the $200.00 and he gets the $400.00. The uplighting would be at cost. This is coming from a member of the New Jersey Disc Jockey Network. After that it would be left up to us what we would charge to DJ the wedding. I said just keep it at the $3,500.00 price. He gets paid for his part and we get the rest which would be $1,700.00.

Please do keep in mind since i'm a member of the network i would get a discount for their services that they would be providing. The uplighting would be $400.00 and that's for 10 uplights. If they are DMX the price would then be $450.00 for 10. As stated if more were needed then the price would go up.

I didn't get to all of those things because if we could get to make $1,700.00 from this that would be the most we've ever made. So since it would be us making that much, i wouldn't have a problem with just throwing in the ceremony and then some.

To tell the truth i've never made $850.00 which is half of $1,700.00.

Before you get all giddy about $1700, let me throw out the inevitable question: Who's going to be setting up all of this stuff? If I'm doing the math correctly, you're basically renting a photobooth, uplighting and plasma screens for $1800. Does that include setup labor, or do they expect you to pick up the equipment and set it up yourselves? If the photobooth guy, lighting guy and screen guy aren't doing the setup/breakdown, then you're basically doing a TON of work for very little money. $1700 may seem like a big number, but that's not all profit. Your DJ pay is still making up a big portion of that number.
