WOW!!! the move to maui was easier! LOL

We are in our new rental home... we arrived in Cali on the 1st of Feb and it has been just a whirlwind! Moving from a 900Sqft house to a 1500 one means you need to buy a lot more stuff! so we have...

And then as some of you know,,, 1.5 weeks ago my Dad died so I had to fly back to NC,,, but I am home and playing catch up...

I have 2 events in March lined up and I hope to get more... I knew it would be slow starting and it is, but it is also nice to be back in the area with my longtime friends...

Now, if it just wasn't so cold! LOL

If there was an arcade to welcome me home,,, it's be neat!

Sorry to hear about your Dad. May i ask what part of Cali you located to or is that not to be disclosed?

Remember I'm new here so I have lost touch with what was going on in my absence.

I would love to know which DJs have fallen by the way side since I was banished to the dark void for a period of time.

I'm still standing Cesar

Condolenses, Chuck...my dj golf buddy. Sorry to hear of your loss. Next time you're back to NC, give me a call and we'll find some golf "links" to play around.

Also, welcome back to the "mainland" but who knows...you may be back on an island called "california"! LOL All joking aside, hope your dj business prospers quickly.

Condolences to you my friendly Pineapple Guy! Now we will have to find another Caption for you. What is the main fruit in Cali, Grapes?;)

Cesar,, I am in Northern CA,,, about 2 hours from the Golden Gate Bridge,,,, in a little town called Sebastopol... great area, close enough to the big towns but still in the country...

Art was so excited he posted 3 times! LOL

Thanks Chuck

Love to hear your reviews of those first two events you do since relocating back to California. I often wondered how difficult it would be to DJ in a different region for the first time since what people like in one area doesn't mean they will like it in another area.

Sorry guys and gals about the extra postings...it didn't look like the post was being accepted. After the third try, I gave up. Looks like they all too after all.

Cesar,, my first two events are private parties,,, Father/Daughter Dances for the Girl Scouts....

It's not a new area for me,,, we lived in the area before moving back to Maui... the funny thing is when we moved to Maui I was playing pretty much the same dance music as I was here in Cali before ... the difference was in the background, or if I did a wedding for people in other countries...
