Well business has been good.....better than good.....it's great!!!!
I have been turning potential clients down for a while now because I am already booked. Even if the new potential was a lot more money than what I had already booked for. Matter of principle on that one, not saying a few choice words were muttered here and there. But it has been happenning frequently enough that I have decided to take the leap to be a multi-op company.
My new DJ is my daughter (16) assisted by my wife....(she would kill me). My daughter has been involved with me since day one of my company at almost all my gigs. She does amazing at the 14-30 age range, but has a few glitches with the 80's and older genre's. A pretty major concern for me, but that is where my wife comes in....that's the genre's she knows. They can do a set up for the average size wedding without any assisants and do well on the mic........not just dad/husband talking....business is business....
Any advice on all the do's and don'ts on being a multi op.........
