Weddings Good Couple Game???

Always worked for me as well.....the laughter makes the room so warm and comfortable.....and the couples love it as well.

But it's not right for every couple or every reception obviously.

For most though, it does allow a little more of an intimate feeling to the event as the guests get some info on the couple they probably didn't know just hours ago...kinda like peeling the onion back layer by layer.

And it makes the reception a little more customized to that couple and focuses attention on them and their romance...which is why they're all there.

Only had it ONCE
and I wish I could do it more often
great ice breaker for the crowd
and even better if it is used to fill a "dull space"
between dinner ending and when the dancing begins

what game were you asked about?? I missed the memo. Or did they simply put " Good Couple Game??? " on the planner?

I'm still tryin' to find these frickin' bears!

Here they are! Just gotta keep your eyes out in the local dollar stores.

I bought a dozen pairs of these 5 years ago and am down to my last pair.

I keep giving them to little ones at receptions who grab 'em and I don't have the heart to take them away.

Good, when you go to the dollar store and don't find them anymore - maybe then you can tell me where you can find them (cuz they're not at the dollar stores).

;)

Yeah, I did get lucky as I've only seen them ONCE at a dollar store. Check out that Amazon link!

I did some googling to find case lots from one of the Chinese Trading companies (yeah .. Chinese .. not going to find them cheap from the US) .. couldn't find any lot pricing (case/dozen), but I'm sure there out there .. probably the same places some of you get blow up guitars and glow bands from.

*update* Actually just found some ... http://www.plushinarush.com/3070pb-wholesale-baby-teddy-bears-asst.aspx $3.50 per bear, 12 bear minimum.

**update 2** Just noticed the $150 minimum, so unless you want a whole lot to wallow in, may be better at Amazon or trying the local dollar store. Unless a few want to split a lot.

I hate the " Shoe Game". LOL (Seen it to many times.)

YOU may have seen it many times, but your client and guests have probably not.

Kinda like playing "Celebration"...ugghh...you've heard it so many times because it's what we do.

But the client and guests may not have heard it for years - big difference.

Learn to separate your expectations from your client's.

I do a lot of special dances, but haven't ever been asked about some of the games. I must be missing something, but still would like to know more about the Shoe Game and any others that people do. I've been doing weddings for five solid years, the last two really focusing on them and honestly, they all usually want the line dances, and the anniversary/dollar/family/etc. dances.
