Listening to some songs on the ride back from Costco, here are a couple of trends I thought about:
LIKE TO CONTINUE: I like the country/pop and latin/pop synergies going on in the industry .. I wouldn't have played much country in the past, but I like a lot of the more recent crossover stuff. Same with the latin rap/hip-hop mix (ala Pitbull et. al.)
LIKE TO DIE A QUICK DEATH: Swearing/General Vulgarity ... what happened to good old innuendo and competent wordsmithing. It seems a lot of current music that I can play to most crowds are missing 1/4 of the words. Seems like F**k is a new standard that needs to appear once or twice in each new Top 10.
