Hi there, so im kinda new to djiing, ive been doing mixes for a while but i want to start doing more live gigs. I was wondering if i were to list my setup, if someone could tell me what i need to hook up a pair of headphones for monitering deck a and b, aswell as plugging in a microphone?
Software : Virtual Dj Pro
Mixer : Hercules Dj Control MP3 E2 http://www.thesource.ca/estore/prod...og=Online&category=Web_Gaming&product=7200213

Stereo system: SONY MHC-EC909IP IPOD DOCK HI-FI MINI SYSTEM

Please note, My laptop only has one output for a 3.5mm jack, and it is used to connect my computer to my stereo.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out, i have a short budget so keep that in mind for all suggestions!

I might be the only one to say this, but have you thought about upgrading to a Mixtrack Pro? Audio outs in the back of it, a headphone jack, and a Microphone jack in the front. I never had any issues with mine.

true
if your controller does not have jacks for headphones or a mic...
I wouldn't use it for live gigs.

as for your laptop
you can buy a pair of Behringer UCA-202 interfaces (one for each deck) for $30 each.

also,
if that is your "sound system"...I would definitely not use it anywhere but in your bedroom.

you're gonna need a lot more power and a lot more (professional) gear
