We are not ready to buy it yet (there is some personal stuff Eric is going through right now which has put us buying anything on hold for a bit), but I just wanted to start to get info for when we do want to buy.

What I am looking for would be something that has at least 2 handhelds, plus a lapel mic for ceremonies. It can be two separate systems (a small lapel system and then a larger handheld one if necessary) and it can also be one handheld, one over the ear and one lapel if that works too.

Any suggestions on where I should start looking.
 
Look at GTD Audio! Inexpensive but built well and works well. A few here have bought their systems after I pointed the to them. You can find their systems here and here.
 
I have a few questions on the GTD Audio Wireless units.
1. Is the output just 1/4" or 1/4" & XLR?
2. The units show the Antennae as in a vertical position (Pointing Upwards), can it be swiveled to a horizontal position (Pointing backwards) or semi sideways?
3. How do the Headsets and Lavaliers perform, as comparable to the Handhelds?
4. Does anyone have a picture of the Back Panel?
5. Can I buy two extra Handhelds to use in place of the Lavaliers/headsets for the second model listed below?

On my unit there is XLR out for each channel and a 1/4 a/b mix.

I have the handheld and the lavs and both work very well.

Yes, you can use the handheld,lavs, & head sets with any channel. After you select the channel & frequency, you sync the mic of your choice with the receiver.

And yes, the antennas can be angled/positioned just like any other wireless unit.

The antennae cannot be taken out though, right? I would not mind taking them out and mounting them on a Blank Panel on my slant top of Rack or console.

Yes the antennas can be removed. I have made some high gain antennas for more range.
 
A few more questions:
Do the displays on the Receiver show the status of the battery life? On the EV Re2 I can tell when one of the Mics is running low on battery power.
How does the headset fit, nice and snug or cheaply made?
