So, after my latest run in with Yahoo, I discovered they are no longer supporting the program I am using for the site....and the new site building program they have does not allow for custom html....so, I am looking to move the site to a new host which is wordpress friendly and Bluehost says they have a one touch wordpress option. Has anyone used this or does anyone know anything about Bluehost?
 
I am trying to learn Wordpress. Can you just make your site a WP site and use a redirect? If so, I would just use Godaddy. I think they also have a 1 touch option.
 
A couple things....Yahoo I have found is IMPOSSIBLE to do anything with outside of their own programs, so I would not even want to attempt to do anything outside of their stuff....plus with a redirect, I would be paying two hosting services for just one site
 
How much are you looking to spend? You can find TONS of sites that have "1 touch install" of about 50-250 different software titles, from WordPress to ZenCart. It is usually done through either a software called "Fantastico Deluxe":

Or another program site hosts are using now is called "Softaculous"

I host a blog for a friend of mine, and I used Softaculous to set up WordPress for it, and it was super easy. You would probably have to go the same route as Randy did and buy a custom template though, and to fill those in you *should* know a little about basic HTML at least. Unless you have someone install it and set everything up for you. If you want to edit the actual template in any way, you will definitely need someone with advanced HTML and probably some PHP knowledge in order to edit the actual files, rather than just filling in the "blanks".
 
Blue Host is good for kicking forums off for over usage. I doubt a small Wordpress site would be an issue but I cannot recommend them knowing that.

All my secondary sites are now hosted at MDD Hosting and most of them are powered by WP. I can recommend MDD without a second thought. Prices are more than reasonable and Mike, the owner is a good guy and goes above and beyond to help his clients. Softalicious is enabled for all accounts. ODJT was hosted with MDD for a short while but a shared account just wasn't for us as we had down time issues.
 
I used bluehost for a buddys videography business and it was ok. I have always used godaddy and do not have any complaints. Godaddy also lets you install all that blog stuff too! Godaddy would be my recommendation.

No REAL need to know HTML to fill in a template site with info, but for some advanaced features, it's nice to know.

Customizing a templates isn't hard either, but any major changes should be done by someone who knows what they are doing.
