Weddings Bouquet toss and garter pull

Was wondering if the DJ's out there play background music for these events. If so what have you been playing.

We ask for specific song selections for this on our wedding planner. If the B&G dont specify songs and want general background music instead, we'll play instrumental tracks from Enya or wedding-appropriate music.

I always leave the decision to the bride and groom, but recently most bouquet tosses have been done to ”Single Ladies” by Beyonce.

I like doing a song for the garter pull like” Oh Yeah” or the mission impossible theme. Then a song for the toss like” Another One Bites The Dust” or the Vader march.

I use the Jeopardy theme for getting guys/gals on the floor
and the theme from Mission Impossible for the garter "placement"
with a basic drum roll/cymbal crash for the tossing and catching
if they go with the "wrong leg" stunt, I'll use Yello - Oh Yeah as song #2

We encourage the B&G to pick their own songs, that way they can inject more of their own personalities into the reception.

If the couple does not pick their own (which we encourage them to do) we use Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye for the removal and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun for the toss

As mentioned, they have the choice, if not I suggest songs that have been requested by other brides. Single Ladies, This Ones for the Girls (to round up the ladies for the bouquet toss) Legs, Hot Legs, Talk Dirty To Me, The Stripper, Mission Impossible, for the garter removal. Oh Yeah, Let's Get It On and Teddy Pendergrass - "Turn off the lights" for the garter placement.
