One of my ever so faithful Gator slant racks has two latches that refuse to stay tight and latched.

Any idea where I can buy them?

And how hard are they to replace?

Dunno about Gator cases... but I'm going to presume they are similar to SKB in design.

Replacement latches are available; you may find 'em through a search. That said, I wouldn't replace the latches unless I knew they were damaged or worn. If it's a case of them not securing tightly anymore they can be removed and reinstalled slightly back from the edge. Drill out the mounting rivets.

If removal is necessary, you may replace 'em, secured with pop rivets or small button head screws with self-locking nuts. A shim may be needed to obtain the proper mounting.

Hope it helps.

Just thinking out loud...I may just put a little piece of duct tape on the 2 loose ones while not in use.

Sounds like a redneck solution, but it may work.

Hey Duck Tape is a gift from God so never question it's uses yorofl: If they had a roll in the Space Station there would be no emergencies yorofl:
