Hey Friends! I wanna tell u first that I m not a sound equipment expert and I m here for help not for criticism so please answer accordingly. Actually I m making a medium size DJ/PA setup and zeroed on these- Four Peavey PV-215 Dual 15 Speakers, Two Peavey Pv-118 D powered sub, Two Behringer EP2000 power amplifiers, dbx 231s Dual 31 Band Graphic Equalizer.BBE Sonic Maximizer, PEAVEY PV 23XO 2 WAY/3 WAY ACTIVE CROSSOVER, Numark Mixdeck Quad/Virtual Dj . What do u think of this setup? Please Advise if anything should be changed (but in same price tag). And last but most importantly please tell “HOW TO HOOK UP ALL THESE TOGATHER”? Any help would be appreciated .

It might be best if you asked whoever sold you that equipment to show you how to hook it up. Per your statement that you are unfamiliar with how to set it up, will you be familiar with its use and the settings? There is one piece of equipment that you listed that worries me for you, the BBE Sonic maximizer. In the hands of an experienced operator it can cause major devastation. I would suggest you recruit local, hands on help. Pay someone a few dollars to assist you.

In that case refer to one of the above pieces of advise and stay away from the Dual 15s. They are better suited for Bands on stages or on top of subs. On the floor they tend to sound muddy if too many people get in front of them to block the sound waves.
I don't plan to place them on floor rather I'll
mount them over there flight case...would that be ok?
High notes should travel over people's heads. Those Duals are usually not pole mounted..The higher you put them then the more bass from them you will loose as bass belongs on the floor.. So it is always going to be a compromise between bass and highs.
If you want something that will work in a two way as tops, I would strongly recommend the Bose 802s and their controller (Two way crossover) that goes with them. It is a line array and has great Mids and highs. They keep up with my 4 JBL Bass Bins very nicely.
