The most bizarre gig I can recall was a HS grad party back in the early '90s. The brother-in-law's kid or someone they knew wanted to invite a group of his fellow grads over for a cookout at the house.
The BIL and his missus lived 'way out in the boondocks. They were all party people... would throw a party at the drop of a hat. I'd set up on the deck and play music.
What started as a handful of HS grads turned into a huge field party with over 70-some kids, many whom nobody even knew, pulling in and parking. Apparently somebody spread the word and they all came in droves. The BIL was cool about it... he camped out at the head of the driveway and made sure they all parked.
This was before the "keg laws" were enacted... then, anyone over 21 could buy a keg of beer anywhere, no questions asked, no form to fill out and sign. So yup, there was a full keg on ice at this shindig. And a cooler dispenser filled with popskull for good measure... the stuff ya make with Everclear.

A lot of the original invited kids' parents were there... that's what the homebrew was for.
The barbecue grills were smokin' for hours... them kids ate and drank all night. The hostess took everybody's car keys ~ that was a condition at the start.
Folks, I'd never seen so many drunk-assed teens in my life. Man, they were all over the place... chasing one another around, half- and sometimes fully-naked, back in the woods and out in the yard.
They puked, peed and crapped all over the ground and themselves. This one big kid, he was staggering across the yard, no trousers on. Lost his balance and fell on his back. His bladder let loose and he peed straight up in the air, giving himself a golden shower.
I was originally slated to play for 4 hours... and ended up loading out at around 2:30 the next morning. Every time I stopped the music, someone would holler out from the prairie, wanting it to go on. The BIL said to keep a rollin', he'd pay for it.
Eventually, they all passed out. I put the gear in the truck, covered it and overnighted at the house. Next morning them kids were still laying around the yard, some in their cars, others underneath. Some were wrapped around trees.
They left a hellufa mess behind; the place was littered. The BIL had trash cans placed around but there was nothing in 'em. It was all over the ground. That's what pissed him off... they didn't clean up after themselves.
