awesome dude now thats an elegant effort. The video was excellent. The only thing I saw was the name in lights on the floor your camera must have been out of focus or the beauty of the event made me teary eyed not sure which? I would remove that as it might mislead a prospective client as to the quality of your Gobo abilitiers. The Uplighting absolutely stunning.

I agree with Jon on this word for word, very nice.

I'll side with Jon on this one as well. Fantastic job, especially for a first attempt. Just wow. Now for the critiques, ditch the gobo shot, definitely. Your spacing and choice of coverage areas were perfect but one question. Did you have the fixtures right against the wall? I noticed the chair rails clipping your uplights. If space permits, I'll usually pull the fixtures away from the wall to get around the chair rail. The moving heads had me salivating. I especially loved how you did the slightly-moving white spotlights on the first dance. Any videographer would kill to get to shoot that event. It's promo-gold, I tell ya. Oh and great editing. Very nicely done on the production.

Thank you for sharing.

JJDJ, you know I love you but... I just don't like the beam angle on those uplights, way too wide, makes the whole room pink! I have a bride right now that is afraid that will happen... I agree with the others, cut the custom gobo projection shot.

I do love the slow panning open white gobos on the dance floor, that looks killer. Are those the Q-Spot 260's?

Here is a shot of the Slimpar 64's and their beam angle / spread at a recent gig.

The production on the video is GREAT. Nicely done. I actually like the uplights....i agree they don't have the nice tight beam angle like the Slimpar 56's we use, BUT that pink looks so incredible that i say why not let it just fill up the room? Also , agreed that i like the pattern the 260's are doing during the slow dances. Keep up the good work! :)
