Started working on our homecoming rig, similar to what Boom has ran at some of their events. We are going to run this with our turntables and mixers on top, with our Qspot 260's on the top. We then plan on putting a single 1.5M pipe on each totem going horizontal so we can hang some of the Q6's to wash the dance floor. We then plan on putting two more 6.56' totems further out on the left and right with more qspot 260's and some color strips on a horzontal tube with colorstrips or more q6's. Thoughts?

I like the clean lines of the verticals just as you have it and with the movers on top of course. I'm not big on those horizontal pipes running off the towers with other lights hanging from them, I think ruins the effect. Instead, why not put two or three Colorstrips together end-to-end and have them up high behind you? You could easily mount two strip lights on one tripod stand as they only weigh a few pounds each. Three or four and you'd need two stands for support. You wouldn't really notice the stands back there, just the lights. Or maybe try a single tube between the towers and mount the strips on top of that... Just thinking out loud... Looks great by the way!

Looks great......Definitely expand it on the sides making this the center point of a much bigger set-up and you'll have an AWESOME Homecoming rig. By the way, i'm doing a wedding up your way in the Sunset Room at the National Harbor next month, and the clients are providing a Hotel Room, we should meet up!

What day? I'll check my schedule, Ive actually been down your way 3-4 times this month for weddings down in norfolk and mechanicsville
