What is a Clean Look/Setup?

but you get it that everyone has an opinion
so everyones setup is as each other

so no setup is clean to clients, but if they hire you and you do a good job, who cares

try asking a bride if yoursetup is clean for her wedding, and if it needed fixing she can do it for you
I bet 9/10 times your setup wouldnt be good enough for them and would be cleaning it every show

thats why I say no setup is clean (each is in the eye of the beholder)....

I have actually had potential clients ask to see photos of my setup, they have told me about embarrassing looking "DJ messes" they have seen at weddings & did not want it at theirs.

if Djs realized that they have blinders on then maybe they will see how no Dj setup is clean

I think what Dennis is trying to say is a Clean Setup look is subjective to the viewers perspective.... still I've seen plenty of setups here on this site alone that are very, very appealing for their clean and appealing presentation.

She must've considered mine clean, she wound up booking me.
She described the messy ones just as I thought; nothing rack mounted, just a tabletop full of components stacked on top of each other & wires strewn everwhere. (probably hidden behind a facade)
