Research your country's copyright laws and their requirements on public performances. I don't think anyone of us here is qualified to speak on behalf of the Swedish Government.

If you plan to power any system using a car battery I'd recommend a Marine battery vs a automotive one... for a couple reasons. 1. It's more suitable for exposiure to the elements and 2. They tend to hold their charge better. The later is my understanding and could be completely wrong.

No matter how you approach this you're going to need to either use just one self powered speaker or two very efficient ones otherwise you'll run your battery down in a matter of just a few hours of use.

The marine batteries are deep cycle batteries they're in a whole other league compared to automotive batteries. Just make sure you've got the right voltage inverter and how much power you're going to draw with your equipment.

so we now know European Law as DJs as well? I have a friend who sells online radio to coffee shops in Slovenia I guess he better look out for the RIAA, the FBI and the US Federal Sheriff to knock on his door soon. I will simply stick to what I know.

Hmmm... that sounds oddly familar.

I think this is just begging for lawyers to come knocking on your door.

Why would they do that?

It's not illegal to carry, lets say a cdplayer with you and play music.

And to the rest of you!

Thanks for the awesome support, I'm still collecting info, and am currently looking in to what kind of speakers to get! ^^

I agree with the others - check your laws. I don't think it's illegal anywhere to carry a portable CD player and listen to it for yourself however, there is a BIG difference between playing something privately for yourself and playing something for the public.
