okay,
my wedding this Saturday is at the Barrister's Club in Allentown, PA.
Beautiful old hall with a spacious floor and a very large stage.
I hate being on a stage, especially when it's so TALL
and so difficult to get to for guests' requests.
I have an overhead view pasted below...
If you did NOT want to be placed on the stage....where would you choose to set up?

1- on the dance floor, directly in front of the stage
2- off to one side, opposite the cake table, but right next to the dance floor
3- the bathroom (not pictured)
4- New Jersey
5- somewhere else I didn't think of...

There is no right or wrong answer.
Just want a little ammunition when I talke to the manager later this week.

I pick option 1. I'm not a big stage fan either.

I have a wedding coming up where I 'have' to be on a balcony - while my guests are downstairs on the main floor. Oh yeah - no part of my equipment can be on the main floor neither. This is gonna be a doozey!

First question, Will the stage be used if you opt to be elsewhere? Head table, video presentation, etc.?

I would pick on stage with speakers on floor or #2 in the corner, with speakers each side of the dance floor.
