I don't know if this was a topic before:

Work wise, what do you all do when you're not spinnin'?

I'm an IT guy (aka computer guy) - hence the IT in ittigger.

You would be amazed. Within our three buildings we house two separate IT departments (one with a major server room). The amount of copy paper that is gone through for the professors is absurd. Anything from class and promotional materials, office type supplies, anything from corporations that are coming to give talks or do recruiting (last semester Pepsi sent about 50 large boxes of free product to give to the students). We also do all of the graduate school admissions for management so we receive tons of FedEx, UPS and DHL. A lot of outgoing conference materials when some of the professors head out. Also we have a sister school in Germany, so a lot of stuff is sent back and forth between the two schools.

I'm a Finished Wine Technician at the worlds largest winery in the world. If the wine you drink says made in "Modesto California" on the bottle then we make it. We are the middle man and final processors of that wine. " No good wine before its time". )

cool job, even cooler if you get samples

My day job is IT Director which used to be what you think, budgets, managing user & system support, etc. But, we are moving 2 facilities into a new large campus and I'm in charge of AV for the project designing about 60 rooms from generic conference rooms to video conferencing setups with 25 people sitting around a U shaped table with built-in mics and hidden table connections for power, network & video inputs, to a green screen AV studio, sound booths for pod-casting, usability lab with AV feeds to a monitoring room, various training rooms and general TV/digital signage in lobbies and cafe areas. I'm learning about the screen size requirements for optimal viewing (which is different than home theater), the latest in projection technology, AV control systems and other cool stuff.

In addition to being a DJ, I also work with a local multisport production company putting on triathlons & sports expos.
