DJ Machine OS'

There was talk of getting a poll of what OS' you each use for your DJ sytems.

The choices will be:

Apple
Windows
Other OS'

2 machines are Win7-64's, 2 machines are XP and my very first is an ME machine. All still function but the Win7 machines are the ones I use most.

Let's take stock here, since you folks are... I have a plethora of machines (always wanted to use that word in a sentence)...

2 mains (lappies) -- Win 7 (64)
1 touch screen all-in-one -- Win 7 (64)
2 backups (towers) -- Vista (64)
2 backup lappies (old, like 4 years or so) -- Vista (32)
1 netbook -- XP (monitors the temps of my solar heaters)
4 really old lappies with Win 2k or XP (collecting dust)
1 Mac with OS X (currently in use as a bookend -- it's pretty, and contrasts well with the bookcase)

Linux something on my NAS (which is slower than my toaster)
Windows Home Server for my secondary backup (very fast and cool)
Linux something on my security DVR (slightly faster than my toaster)

I actually liked MS-DOS 4.1 better!

I forgot to include Win XP in my vote.

Win XP, Win 2K, and Win 7.

5.1 with dosshell. My teachers thought I was a genius because I setup DOSShell to run in autoexec and they didn't have to type commands any more.

My favorite dos was the dos in my portfolio (dip dos) now look up portfolio and see why this was a breakthrough.
