Actually, keep the speakers home and plug the midget (PC: vertically challenged) in! Ha!
Any alternatives out there to tripods. I have seen some people using trussing. How does that work and cost? Any other suggestions out there
Trussing isn't cheap.... at least the good stuff... But even the not as good stuff isn't cheap. Many people mount a plate on the top, and have a pole in the plate to set the speakers on it.
And, of course you need a heavy base plate.
It would actually be less of a tripping hazard than a regular tripod which has three legs sticking out in all directions.
