Here you go old man. You liked it so much that I edited out the Latin stuff and only added the Retro. Yes I know Elvis is not retro but my brother loves Elvis and he didn't think I could mix it in! LOL...........

Hey Freddy...weeeee-pahhhhh-FM! Man, that 80's Mix is something. I thoroughly enjoyed the mix! Super job!

I'm ashamed of myself for not making it back to regularly listening to you on Thursday evenings. I like the Latin music. I'm still subscribing to two different music services for Latin music; Top Hits and TM Century. They both have their own niches and a variety of styles. I prefer the East Coast Latin music more than the Southwestern Latin. When I play a Merengue or Salsa at my gigs and I usually play at least one at every gig, the guests usually get up and dance...even if they don't know how to salsa or merengue. One of the more recent songs that I like are "OEO" (Merengue) Los Hermanos Rosario and "Como Curar" (Reggaeton) by Zion & Lennox, and "You Need To Know" (Cumbia) by Olga Tanon (sp?).

I'm going on the WeDJ Cruise out of Miami on January 24th, 2011, so maybe I'll get a chance to link up with you after.

I have been on Promo only for a about 6 years now and also some local Latin pools here in Miami. Here in South Florida since we are heavy populated with Cubans, Dominicans and Puerto Ricans, Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton and Bachata is what is played at the majority of my events. TM Century I had for a while but dropped it since most of the music there was not catered to my type of events.

I remember that you were coming down, I work during the day but after 4:30pm during the week we can eat dinner or hang out somewhere. Call me when you are in Miami. I do have an event on January 22 but maybe we can hangout and watch a few of the football games at a Flanigans here in Miami on Sunday the 23rd if you are here. We will be in touch.

Thanks for the support and Happy Holidays!

Freddy...

I subscribed to PO for a number of years (annual subscription) Pop Latin and Tropical Latin and even some Hispanic Regional Latin after I had moving to NC. I eventually dropped PO and went to RPM TopHits USA because of their monthly CD that contained 4-groupings. And a few months ago I hooked up with TM Century Prime Cuts and their Latin and Jazz cds. However, since the TM Latin CD contained more of the Southwestern sytles and very few Tropical selectons, I went back to Top Hits USA, but ONLY the monthly MP3 cd, which contains the Latin CD and the Rock/Urban/Dance cds. I get requests for Christian music from-time-to-time so the RR tracks are there for reference.

Cool! This here "gringo" has an ear for good music, eh? LOL I should listen this week for that song and others.

I will most likely give you a call (you gave me your number previously) after the cruise. I think my wife wants do drive the "keys" and then head back to NC.

Happy Holidays to you and yours and Sazon, too.

Well for those of you that helped me out a big thank you! The show will air today which I placed various Salsa Xmas songs in the mix along with others. Tune in tonight at 9pm @ wepa.fm to listen to the hour mix. As usual it is a Bilingual mix 30 min Latin and 30 min Dance!
Happy Holidays to all the Salseros and Que Viva La Salsa!
