Is there a section on this board that list the DJ's in your area? The reason I want to know is to bounce song ideas from eachother. What might be hot in Boston, might not be hot in Cali...

Good point! Go to the top Bar and Click on "Community" then on the Members Map

Sacramento, Ca checking in. I check the music playlists from radio stations in other markets. This gives me a good idea what's happening.
 
I'm from California, and I'm aware of a handful of others here who are, also. I'm in the area between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
 
Chas I spent 30 yrs of my life in Ca but now reside in the upper Ca Northernmost which is called BC Ca or Canada to you hosers lol. There are several more DJs down there. Justin is in Sacramento, Dave Nextgen is nearby as well as Tunes. There are several others in So Cal. Hope they will enter this thread so you might have a nice pool of local DJ friends from ODJT.
 
I'm here in Sacramento/NorCal. I'd be happy to bounce stuff off you, but I'll admit that doing mostly weddings, it's quite a bit slower to introduce new stuff into the rotation. Not like school dances where you HAVE to know what came out last week :)

I do maybe half-a-dozen school events each year that require me to brush up on my current top 20, but it's pretty laid back and a lot of tried and true performers for most wedding gigs.
