I saw an episode of Four Weddings yesterday on the Discovery channel. On the show, brides compete against each other to see who has the best wedding. They get to go to all of the weddings and then they have to rate different aspects of the reception, the winner gets a dream honeymoon. Yesterday's winner was the wedding with 'Bling!'. Two things I noticed were the extensive use of up-lighting and DJ Toad mixing it up on the turntables; congrat's Toad! His appearance was short but there's no mistaking those white glasses! ;)

It's too bad they don't rate the 'party' aspect of the reception...

I haven't seen a wedding reality show yet where they featured, mentioned, or even showed the DJ or entertainment.
Seems like they make a conscious effort to remove any sign of them!

Well, I'm sure at the same token a DJ would need to sign a waiver to be included in the show.

If you think about it this way...DJ fulfills the contract, but the bride still knocks them and uses the DJ's name or company name. Open the lawsuit doors.

right on Mister Mac....
it's all about the money!
Besides, I can only imagine that any DJ who WAS featured would want some control over what "moments" were featured in the show...to prevent them from looking bad.
Cause we all know that in shows like these...BAD is good (for ratings)
