I am a big fan of his early solo work. I remember being a teen, and wrestling with my religion thinking I'm going to hell for using the devil horn symbol Ronnie Dio was famous for. My family were devout Catholics. Through this worry, I found my way out of organized religion into other beliefs.

Essentially, Dio helped me break free from the confines of a suffocating religion.

Rest in Peace Mr. Dio, and thank you!
