Facebook Power

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
I did- and though the venue is successful, Facebook only added a few of those people that I know personally- otherwise, FOR ME- blah...
 
I put my facebook page live the other day. We went from 2 fans to over 100 fans in a matter of a few days. Website traffic is pretty high as well. We are getting about 45 hits a day from facebook directly
 
I use facebook to stay connected to current and previous clients. It also shows those that are considering your service that you take your business seriously (if you consistently update content). It also helps with generating referrals.
 
I now have a Fan Page for my Town Crier business under way - It needs no paid ads as I am such a niche ;) I can upsell the fact that I "was" a pro DJ and get more dosh that way ;)

Facebook is cool, however I am top on Google naturally for DJ and Town Crier and SEO

By the way guys - Do watch out for Orkut and the big Google push that is on the way ;)

I like Orkut and believe me who do you think is going to get higher rankings Facebook or Orkut?

Talk up your business... invite friends... invite friends of friends garner as many fans as you can so that everytime you talk about a gig or post an event or a pic they allllllllllllllllllll see it.... call it viral advertising.
 
I just got a call from "Devon Life" a local full colour mag for some photos in historic areas - from Facebook. 7am this morning :( I have to be out and about in a moment - front page pic is what they want

Funnily enough the Facebook phone number they rang came from an Auto Twitter to Facebook stream I have set up to post 4 times a day ;)

That's exactly what I thought - life never ceases to amaze me.

Ain't it great!

I feel so lucky - I've always been a bit of a blagger but yesterday Missus Motown, the Photographer and the Town Crier :) got offered free stuff everywhere we went - even the ice cream man let me get on his bike LOL
