Having never been to either I would pick Mobile Beat just for the networking. Seems most DJs pick that one

LDI has a lot more very expensive toys geared towards national touring and installation attendees. Mobile Beat is specific to the DJ industry, with potential in networking and seeing equipment typically more suited to a mobile dj.

My intent is to go to Vegas! I was just invited to LDI...wasn't sure which group has more fun?!?!?
I'd have to agree with the other posters... I go to both, and I think MB would be a MUCH better fit for a DJ.

If you want to go to Vegas just to "have fun" then go with the wife or whatever anytime....
As for Mobile Beat, it is about learning, networking and seeing a few new toys... It is fun too, but a different kind.... Don't waste your time going to MB if all you are going to do is stay out late drink and act stupid....
