Hey Guys,

I am cleaning up and organizing our controller/amp rack and hooked up a USB hub, and now the keyboard I was using (I had it connected directly to the HD-2500) doesn't work. I tried disconnecting the USB hub and going direct again and nada. It doesn't seem to be recognizing the keyboard anymore.

I tried hooking up the Hub again and connected my external HDD and it saw and read that just fine. Swapped it out for the keyboard and still nothing.

I'm lost here, anyone have any ideas that can remedy this situation.

Thanks,
-Rob

Is the hub powered?

Yuppers. I tried swapping out the USB hub for one I was using with my computer and still no beans. I think I've done every different trouble shooting combinations I could think of. Still doesn't want to
work.

And I am running the newest firmware 1400 or something like that.

Is it a Belkin Brand hub? Off brands china hubs can cause odd trouble.

If the HD2500 USB port is working for your Music Device, that means its working for all.
The system does not know the difference between a KB or a storage device, therefore its impossible for only the KB area to be broken, its all or nothing. This points back to your hub, KB, cable or hub power supply.

In your preset mode, is ENGLISH selected for your KB type?

Not a Belkin brand hub, I got it from Bestbuy.

English is selected for KB type in Preset Mode.

I tried it again today and its the same problem. It's actually kinda annoying to be honest. I don't under stand why it worked one day and now it doesn't.

Have you tried another keyboard???

Rob, what's the make model of the 3 KB's used?
All 3 connected directly to the port (no hub) dont connect at power up?

I used 1 microsoft keyboard, 1 logitech, and actually 2 apple keyboard. The 2 Apple Keyboards worked fine. No problems what so ever before. Now nothing will work.

And yes that was with me testing it straight to the USB port on the HD2500.
