Ok, here is the story

While in Vegas I purchased an EV mic and a Denon HD-HC4500 from Ben. My intention was to pick up 3 mics however when I took the 4500 it left me a little short so I thought I would come back home here to Canada and pick up the other Mic's here at my local dealer. So got home called my local dealer and got a quote...OMG the same mic that Ben was selling at $425 was almost double here at $790 (with taxes) even with the exchage rate that is one H.E.L.L. of a savings. Guess where I am going to be ordering.

Next

The 4500 was the demo model and I waited till the end of the show to pick it up. I showed up as Steve was packing it up and I watched him put everything in the Box. I took it back to the room and packed it in the suitcase, then off to the airport we went.

When we got home and unpacked there was a letter in my suitcase that said that they had gone through my bags as a security measure. I thought OK, no problem. On Thursday I finally got organized and opened up the Box that the 4500 was in and I noticed right away that it was not closed or wrapped up the way Steve had done it. I looked at the unit and everything looked good then I started going through all the extras. RCA's - yes, Power Cable -yes Trackor LE CD - NO, dam...looked in the box again, not there, checked my bag, not there...Hmm now wonder, was it a Demo version or Full Version so I send an email to Ben explaining that I know it was there as I saw Steve putting it in asking him if it was Demo or Full and if it was the full version how would I go about getting another copy of it. His reply was to let him to look into and and he would get back to me, his reply basically went like this...

Steve:

The CD was definitely in the box. The CD had the code on the case as well.

We'll try to get you another version. Sorry about that.

Then on Saturday afternoon I get this email from him

Steve -

We are mailing you a copy of the full version with license code.

OK, so let me get this straight, I tell you I know the CD was in the box and that the box was checked, you say Sorry..and that says you are mailing another copy...

Sorry Ben.. you are not.... " Just your average guy"

Thank You for all your help and effort

Will say the same about Chris - who works with Ben.

2 years ago, I picked up ShowExpress with an X-factor dongle for my DMX shows... I don't use it for most of my shows, but when it comes time for the Spring Musical we do with the wife's Middle School, it is in full use.

I couldn't remember how to do one or two things with the program, so I called & got to talk with Chris for 20 minutes or so.... BAM!

He got me straightened out & things are working fine for now.

Cheers & Thanks Ben/Chris/Kat!

Thanks for posting that Joe. I will share it with Chris. I am only as good as the team that surrounds me, and I'm proud to say that my coworkers here at NLFX step into a gauntlet of fire every day and roll up their sleeves to help our customers. With the economy being what it is, it seems that many mfgs have pulled back their support, etc... which makes us work that much harder to try to take care of our customers, and we know money is tighter for many of our friends out there too so the dollar has to go further.

We're not perfect, but I sure hope nobody ever says we don't try. LOL.

Time and time again, Ben Stowe has shown his "salt" when it comes to working doubly hard to insure custimer satisfaction!

He always makes a fervent attempt to be price competitive, but, in this business, price should not always be the paramount concern!

Dependable customer service is king. You cannot put a price on that!

NLFX gets all of my business now!
