Power PM me with a cost and and what it would look like (material etc etc). At its shortest it would have to be 16 inches and adjustable on the fly to any length up to maybe 32 inches but the end number is not as important as the lower numbers are for me.
I picked one up tonight to replace a small folding table I use for my Mackie. It will sit under the wings of my shelf which sits across my rack. It is pretty sturdy! I like it. Thanks for the tip. Ben's version is more Professional/Pro Gear looking. I have one like his with a pneumatic lift with a top that tilts but its a bit heavy. I have a monitor stand very similar to the one Ben posted a picture of. It's great for a karaoke monitor, but way too tall for my projectors.
That little notebook stand is perfect for my projectors and I have skirting under my screens for rear projection anyway, so nobody will ever see them. I think they'll hold up. What the heck, at $20 a piece!!

I have a very good short throw projector. The problem with them is that they have to be set close and not very for in height from the screen nor does it possess a zoom feature. One of my screens to fill perfectly has to be no higher or lower than I think 18 inches. The other screen is on order and it will probably be a little lower.
