What a great piece of freeware. I'm synching my drive up they have need this for a long time. I just wished 30,000 files transfered alot faster.

great product, I keep my music on 3 different hard drives and always carry 2 of them to each event just in case.
Before I spent hours trying to keep the hard drives the same but now I just sync them and walk away and let them finish, and they are perfect. I had to make my computer so it don't go to sleep if I don't move the mouse, but a great product and FREE

Heck it may not be automated in such a way that it could be used for a backup software but it's great... I also use it at work to sync up all the computers documents... works better than the One Touch software that came with the backup drives.
Have you guys ever tried Sync Toy? Not only does it Sync but it also Echoes the Drives. I have been using it for years now.

I use Synctoy 2.0 but just read that when you set it to ECHO a folder, it will copy all the new stuff from left to right but will not delete stuff on the right that you've deleted on the left already. Is this right? Is there a better program that is just as easy to use?
First 2.0 is an older version. If you Sync then both folders come out the same. If you are just adding from left to right then its much faster (Only adding new stuff).
Why would you be deleting Music if that is all you want to Sync?
That statement in their sales pitch has always bothered me.... I guess from their point of view it's a free program so what do they care how it's used.
But, that is a bit blatent in my book.

Yeah, that's what I thought but I read that it doesn't. I'll have to do a test... I love the simplicity of it, hopefully all is well.
Rick, are you using 2.0 or 2.1? I tried to upgrade to 2.1 but had some issues with it loading so decided to stick with 2.1 since it seems to work great.
Me too. I think I'll just leave it alone as I have never experienced any issues.
