I think it is for the next generation, the one that is going to need a gps unit to go from their living room to the bathroom.

Google has had this for along time. When you get the chance to be SECOND at something, of course it's going to get better.
I love this technology and could care less about Big Brother (he solves crimes quite often).
My street used to be on Google Maps until someone (on the street) complained and had it removed.
It's a great tool for sharing landmarks and pointing visiting friends and family to interesting or worthy places to go.

It's a great tool for sharing landmarks and pointing visiting friends and family to interesting or worthy places to go.
I think it's cool -- for example, you could use the Google version (which is not quite as cool as the MS version), and see how many yellow page books they dumped in front of my place :sqerr:
