:sqembarrassed: What can I say? The ole eyesight ain't what it used to be!

Everyone has known this was coming. I feel bad for the people who picked up cheap items thinking it would never go down. I got all my clients upgraded (the last one is switching over this weekend).

Most mfgs have rebates too for upgrading. EV has $100 off rebates if you send in a non-compliant system and buy one of theirs. We have amazing pricing, which combined with the rebate makes owning an RE2 pretty darn painless on the pocketbook!

Just a question on the subject (because I own several units that are not complient) I don't know exactly how it works but I remeber in the old CB walkie talkies that you could change out the crystals for different frequencies.

Can the old units be "fixed" this way as well?

Question: Is this applicable to ANY System (The one that will be sent in) regardless of purchase price or brand?

Some of them CAN be recrystaled, but it typically costs more than the wireless originally did. We redid a number of system for Division 1 football intercom systems and it was many thousands of dollars per system.

Yes. As long as the system operates in the 698 - 806 band and is otherwise working.

Ben,

I have a single-channel EV R200 unit that I purchased years ago - it's 735.xxx mHz - so what can ya do with this?

Thanks!

You get $100 rebate from EV with the purchase of an RE2 from us. I think the rebate is good until June? :)

Ben

So Ben, do I get a rebate for starting this thread that may lead to beaucoup business sales? :sqwink:
Jes kidding! (No I ain't) LOL:sqlaugh:
This is why I like ODJT so much! Common dialogue can lead to so many answers, which in themselves can lead one to the right destination of having their problems/issues solved, with answers from those in the know and who can offer solutions and generous options/offers. (Damn, thats a long sentence!)

Chalk one up for ODJT y'all!

Now where did I put that Hisonic Wireless System?.......hmmmmmm....does it even qualify?.........if I were to send it they may make me the Prime Idiot of ODJT!...... I would never hear the end of it! ...from the Dyna guy all up in Winterland to the Miami Guys and Mexican Doctor guy in Sunnyland. I'll have to sleep on that one! :sqconfused:

Rutrow.... I think my AT Freestyle 200's operate in that range.... I'll be double checking tonight!

Nevermind I just looked them up they are in the VHF range so I'm safe...
