So, yesterday we did the second and final bridal show for the season. This one was a fundraiser for a local charity and was held at the Purdue Memorial Union. Compared to last week's show, it was a lot of the same vendors, but only a small handful of the same brides coming through. Once again there were us and 6 other DJs, with three of them being right in our price range. It was definitely a more aggressive show as far as getting into the aisle to start a conversation with people. They had somewhere between 80 and 100 brides through the door (compared to last week's almost 500) and we managed to talk to almost 50 of them, so that was nice. I personally don't think the lower turnout was as big of an issue because for the most part, these brides seemed to be more serious about finding vendors. So, we'll see what happens.
