I am not sure how to create a boot disk for my dell. It is vista 32 bit installed. I want to crash and restore to original.
It does not have a DVD burner but a CDC burner on it.

2 questions
1. How do you create boot disk
2. Can you do it right off the computer and how?

Thanks for the help.

Use the Start Menu search and type in recovery. You should have a recovery disc creator application which burns what ever you need to CD/DVD. Both my Vista computers had it. My desktop took 3 DVDs and lapt 2 DVDs, it's going to take a whole bunch of CDs but once you burn them you reboot with the first CD in the drive and boot from it.

I don't have any Dells on hand to walk you through setting it to boot from the CD so someone else is gonna have to chime in.

Don't know if there is a way to do this... but, you could just get an OEM Vista 32 disc from Newegg or Tigerdirect and reload the computer from that.... the only thing missing would be the drivers that came with the computer for the audio, CD, network, video and wifi.... but that could be downloaded from Dell's website. They have an awesome drivers download site for their computers.

Do you have the original discs that came with it?
