I don't think it would make much difference unless you are setting up on un-even ground then it would depend on which way it was sloping... as a general rule for ease of use I'd say Front...

Darn, I figured they'd go on the sides!
I was not kidding with my answer "Back & Front"! Its easier to turn around or shift over to one side or the other, if you have to, while its in a tight space. You can always lock the wheels afterwards

I had them on the back but found it a pain in the butt to push it into place and then lock the wheels. I'm in the process of swapping everything around so I can push the road case into place and get to the wheels and lock & unlock them easier..(at least for me)
