Randy - I really like the look of your site. I'm normally not a fan of white back grounds; yours however seems to work...
Thanks, Steve.
It's always a work in progress. I changed it a few months ago to the current look and have noted a better response from visitors (brides-to-be mainly) stopping by and then contacting me. So, I think it's working well.
Just last night, I talked with a bride-to-be that booked me and she said that she hadn't even saw the website, but her sister who was helping do some research for her had and really like the look and feel of it and highly recommended me over the others in my area. Yea!
I also have been listening to a test group of some things that would improve the experience for visitors as well. Some of them have noted that the white does pop a bit too much, so I may look into toning that down a bit. Not sure yet what I'll do.
My main concern is giving something that is visually appealling and providing the information the visitors want to see. For example, my FAQ page. I had it down for years and didn't use it, but was getting some of those questions over and over again and felt like they cluttered my telephone or email conversations. Listening to my test group, they liked the FAQ. I'm sure there might be more content I could add to that page as well, but so far it's working.
The videos have been a HUGE payoff and I don't even think they are good videos. But, potential clients (and the test group) want to see the equipment, want to see it action and by looking at the photos (which I do have to get updated) and the video, they can get a pretty good idea on what kind of service I can provide. It's definitely a positive!
