Seriously, I am sure it is quality, but at that price I pass no matter what the quality. I "might" consider $1200 for such a piece of equipment.

I agree they are way over priced. I love Pio gear but their is absolutely nothing ground breaking about these to justify running out and buying a set. Papa D is correct! These decks should be priced at no more than 1200.00 each.

Well... like all things Pio, it's the best of the best in one package.

Too late? Possibly. I'm not convinced that this unit will suddenly cause VDJs to jump up and buy just because.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe that's true. My understanding is: these decks will read mp3 DVDs (which puts HOURS AND HOURS of music on a single disc), but I don't believe they'll do video, or else they'd be DVJ(numbers) versus CDJ(numbers).

Thats right Steve, its got a DVD drive but no Video Out. bazillions of MP3 on 1 disc.

Does the 900 have basic effects built in? Any one know?
