[ahoustondj]

Look at this! Familiar huh! Even the price but look at the coverage.....for events with crowds up to 5,000 people.

[Ruben Mora]

Hell, No! Somebody has to prove this to me.

[Fred Wright]

...the Beacon provides a 120 degree pattern of a distance of 500’ which covers the area of a football field with just one system.

Oh sure. And Radio Shack offers professional sound reinforcement equipment.

[Papa Deuce]

Homey don't think so.

Rated power = 150 watts.

[DJ Young]

At least their specs are published unlike a similar looking speaker.

And I crap golden eggs.

I want to crap golden eggs too!

May be, but I don't see them claiming that a single set can handle 5,000 people, either,

[DJ Young]

That is a pretty ludicrous claim.

[Jon Tuck]

thats not even half a stadium event. How could they make such claims?

Same way the tobacco companies once claimed that smoking was good for you. They had to be proven wrong first.

There's possibly a frog hair of truth to the claims... in a huge, indoor venue that's empty and quiet one could hear a cricket chirping. That's where the claims end. Fill the house with people and the claims go out the window. People soak up a lot of sound. They create a substantial noise floor too.

[MIXSIRS]

That's not a claim by the manufacturer.

I didn't know that frogs had hairs! Is that how they are in your neck of the woods?
