During some of my early club shows I introduced myself as Willy rather than Bill.
Soon after that some of my regulars added Wild to make it Wild Willy.
It has been Wild Willy ever since.

My customers never complain when I introduce myself and tell them I'm going to slice them up :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

West is one of my old radio on-air names. Been using it for 20 years. My real last name is long and doesn't sound right on either an AOR or CHR station. I've also been told "it sounds jewish" when in fact I'm German.
I used to say if I was going to adopt an actual "DJ" stage name, it would be DJ Major West (inside joke amongst friends).

I'm too old for a DJ name.:sqwink: Since we primarily do weddings I prefer to use my own name.

Many moons ago when I did the bars, the manager asked me what I wanted to be called and I told him that I didn't really give a rat's behind and to let it be a surprise....so he dubbed me Mr. E DJ on the first flyer and we went with that.

I have a few friends who refer to me as DJ E Z Mac because I use a mac and because macaroni and cheese is one of my favourite meals and Kraft came out with Easy Mac and I ate a lot of it at work.
Mostly though I am just Chris.

young...

At clubs I've used "DJ-Wire" or "K-wire"
On the radio I was Kyle Shannon
During a non-compete Ive been "Geoffrey Jammer" and Michael Atkins
To be a jackazz I was "Michael Hayes" at Gator Country in Myrtle Beach circa 1997

Kyle

Professionally, I am Harryoke...as a business I am Harryoke and I bill my karaoke shows as Karaoke with Harryoke, as a brand, BUT, when I Dj events, I am just Harry, your host for the evening.

Now it's mostly just "Chuck The DJ" when I was in clubs and schools it was "DJ Kap. Nemo" inside joke with my friends...

Sometime now at the end of the night I will say.... "mahalo for being here with us and if you enjoyed the party tonight I hope that you will remember "Chuck The DJ",, if you didn't have a good time... I'm "DJ Dan".... good night!

I'm a big Steely Dan fan and have a religious bent (some would say I'm just plain bent) so I go by DJ Deacon Blues.

I am just Adam, your dj for the evening.

My friend however somehow got a cool nickname..he doesn't like it or dislike it.

He got the nickname...

"DJ Sweetlips"

So this is what he is known as now.

With a name like mine, who needs a moniker? Actually, I started out as The Sandalman, but gave that up quickly...

Ducky is just one of my nicknames...has to do with my collection of rubber duckies and stuffed toy ducks, mostly from college. I also like to feed ducks, although I don't get to do that often. Like I said, it's just one of my nicknames....Ducky, DuckZilla, Sis, Gumdrop (Gum, for short), Boston, Shorty.

I do not use this in public because I'm not a club DJ. Even if I were spinning at a local club, I'm not sure I'd use it. A simple Google search will show you why...it's a scrawny guy who DJs in L.A. :sqerr:
