For those that subscribe to the regular PrimeCuts Audio CD, you might want to think about changing to the MP3 version. Starting this month they include some extras.

Below is info on the latest 200932 disk.
--------
PrimeCuts MP3
Please read the following information regarding the new PrimeCuts MP3:
- Effective with issue 200932, PrimeCuts MP3 will now include everything on HitDisc A, B,C, PrimeCuts & PrimeCuts Latin.
- There will be several folders on the CD-ROM:
- HitDisc: This is where all the HitDisc songs will be
- Database & Charts: Includes the weekly Top 30 charts and a database for all
music on the disc.
- Inserts: PDF versions of the inserts or j-cards for each disc.
- PrimeCuts Latin: Every other week (which follows the PrimeCuts Latin release
schedule) there will be a PrimeCuts Latin folder.
- The songs that are located on the root of the disc are the songs from that week’s
PrimeCuts CD. They are placed on the root of the drive so they will play first, in order
according to the insert, if played in an MP3 capable CD player (this was tested but compatibility is not guaranteed due to issues beyond our control).
- IMPORTANT: We use different editing standards for PrimeCuts & HitDisc, with HitDisc
primarily just being edited to pass FCC standards. Therefore, if you have a duplicate of a song that is on both

I have been told about PrimeCuts for a while now and I am thinking about making the jump to a subscription based music service.

Can someone fill me in on what's the best they have found and the web addy of that service!

Thanks!

Kevin

I find for the average wedding jock the hits package is sufficient. I could probably get away with monthly but I need my music faster than that.

young...

I just get the Prime Cuts Monthly..... works for me... but if you are doing clubs and schools, weekly would be better I think..

I get the monthly, but I seem to get some stuff late and I find most of the stuff I don't use. Had requests last Sat night for I Gotta Feeling and Fire Burning. Didn't have them yet so did the iTunes thing. When I got home, found the latest disk came that day with both on there, but I wasn't home to get the mail.

I have to say Jim Weisz is the real deal and Primecuts is the best of all. Dont believe me. See them at a show and get their handouts. By far heads above and ahead of any services. With MP3 for our American friends you cant deny the benefit. In Canada the only way you can get MP3 is to buy into their hard drive services. It costs a bit more but you get everything they offer.
