Stevie Wonder and The Kinks I always considered big.

Roy Clark, John Mayall and Living Colour were definitely underrated and underappreciated.

Same with Kim Carnes. She has recorded songs that most of us have never heard, and good songs at that.

Rick Springfield. Being a soap opera star probably made it harder for him to be taken seriously as a musician, and lots of people think of him as a one-hit wonder simply because "Jessie's Girl" was a HUGE hit that's still fairly popular. Compared to the other hits of that era, his songs don't sound nearly as dated.

two excellent musicians who can still sing and play AMAZINGLY well!
saw them twice when they toured recently...
real basic, sit-down accoustic show with minimal lighting
but they always have alot of fun and put on a great show!

Ice-T's band "Body Count"

I would agree with Ice-T, but probably not Body Count.....

I have seen them live - the first concert I ever had a metal detector check me before entering - and I have seen them on TV in concert.... brutally bad live act.
