Need some help again. Can't find song to buy

Got a first dance song this Saturday and cannot seem to find it anywhere to buy to download.

I found it on the guys myspace page but don't know if I would get it in time. Last resort I will do that but hoping some of you might be able to help me locate it for download. Some of you really know how to key the right words.

It is "Wedding Ballad" by Joshua Stewart

There is a link to Itunes on his myspace site but he is not listed on Itunes. Go figure.

Appreciate any help.

I can order the CD but it doesn't have anything about shipping. I would have to buy it and hope it gets here.

Just got an email from the Bride and she says her fiance has it on his Ipod so I said try to get it on a disc and bring it just in case or I said send it to me via email ( I know, I know) and I could burn it and give them the CD after the reception.

Oh, and if some of you were thinking I waited too long, it was a last minute switch. I hate these but still want to do what I can to find the songs they want.
 
Still can't find the song anywhere. I have a message into the artist through his myspace page and his hotmail address. Still waiting to see if the groom can get this to me either email or bring it on CD.

What I did in the mean time is use my audio editor and recorded it in mono while it played on the flash player from his site. Doesn't sound great but not bad either. Hopefully I won't need to use it. I am gonna set up my gear and play it on there to see how it sounds large.

Anyone else have any ideas? All are appreciated.

only problem is that if he uses some whacky software to rip to disc beware that it might not work in your decks. I prefer getting a zip drive with the mp3 file to plug into my pc.
 
Problem solved. He emailed me the song. I burned it and I am going to put a nice label on it and give it back to them that night with their info on it. I have an order in for the entire disc. I am sure it won't get here by Saturday.

Just got a message from the artist. He gave me a free download of his song. How cool is that.
 
Wowthis is becoming a habit. Its lending to a brainstorm and grassroots idea. Stay tuned and congrats Karl. Sometimes ya just simply must ask.

Have him record a wedding greeting to the bride and groom. Play THAT into the song.

Ask him if he'd consider extending that free download to ODJT members... he'd be doing us all a favor and keep a lot of brides happy at the same time.
