We are in the process of redesigning our web site. I have a meeting on Monday with our designer and wanted to see if I could get some feedback between now and then. I am hoping to have the site ready to launch next week. Check it out:

I think your site looks excellent!! Especially with the feedback from your customers along with the photo ops. Very professional looking.

Nice layout, no doubt a reflection of your own presentation
 
Dan I love the scrolling testimonials however I would have them load from the current on back or remove dates. If the client only looks at the initial one they might think you gys havent worked in awhile. Just my thoughts. Blue is a powerful color.
 
It's an interesting concept to the website...not my cup of tea, but interesting nonetheless. As pretty as this website is, I do have some remarks....

My monitor's set to 1280X768 and it took me awhile to even realize that there was anything more than a slideshow on your website. I kept clicking the different links and all that showed up was the slideshow. Eventually, I thought to scroll down. However, not everyone might do that. How about just using that slideshow for a testimonials page?

Also, there are plenty of lovely pictures by different photographers and while those pictures are lovely, how does your equipment fit in? Is this a site for a photographer or a disc jockey? Some people might confuse that.

By the way, is the wedding market all that you are aiming for? The design for this website is very feminine and floofy. I do like the upscale feel, though, which is enhanced by the pictures. You might scare away some of the more adventurous or simpler customers, though (unless that's the idea).
 
Looks great!

Two suggestions:

1. Host and embed your videos in an independent player (not YouTube, etc.)

2. Run the blue all the down the page and see how it looks. (no white)

I find that most brides don't really care what the gear looks like as long as it is clean, professional, and blends in. The pictures are meant to show some of the high-end locations and to help promote our favorite photographers. I am going to add an asterisk or something to the photographers and videographer who have contributed on the proffered vendors page.

Wow!!

Wow -- Great website!!! First of all the look is VERY VERY professional, not like many I've seen that look like a hack that is just learning how to use Frontpage. The quality of the website reflects on the quality of your business. Very vibrant colors, very clear pictures.. love the addition of the demo/interview. A few nit picks:

Be careful of the White Script on Light Blue background -- it is very hard to read and doesn't pop at all -- this is your Name after all and the key thing you want them to remember. :sqbiggrin:

I think it would help to clean up and be clearer on your packages and enhancement tabs. People surfing the web will be (like it or not) - what will I get and how much will it cost -- The site screams professional so then they go to the package tab to see what I get to choose. Comments here:

Your packages tabs describes 4 packages: the first 2 are a list of events and equipment - and the last 2 have no detail. Be very consistent between the package on what you are offering... equipment lists or services. It took me a while (probably cause I'm slow) to get what the double rose was (basically a package in the White Rose Package)... maybe reverse ordering them would help -- building from the base package up. Do I assume the Double Rose doesn't include ceremony music -- but it is implied that they will "meet my musical needs". I would also be careful with equipment descriptions here - terminology we know, but they don't -- "what is an "Up-light" ; do I need 2 subs - I'm confused"

In packages you have "call for pricing" but then in Enhancements you list a lot of detail and $$ and go beyond just adding the Wedding back into the Master of Ceremonies and Double Rose and Lighting and I'm left confused as to what is in the package and the cost and what isn't. Personally I would put it all under one tab. Give a range on price and totally describe each bundle in layman's terms and then have them contact you to customize it to their needs. I think if you dropped prices all together then it would scare people off thinking: "your site is so professional and you don't put prices on the site, so you must be sky high and you just want me to call to 'corner me'.

OPPS :sqerr::sqembarrassed: I spent most of this describing an improvement area (from my POV) and now the weight of this is in the negative -- Again, overall this is probably one of the best sites I've ever seen and it would cause me to put you on the short list to call and talk more!! Great job.
 
Personally, i'd like to say that its a perfectly tailored site with the perfect measure of everything. Nothing seemed too much or too less. I luv the blue base and it suits the site perfectly well. I luv those pictures in the slideshow display..simply wonderful. Of course if you could add some pics of your dj's too..or maybe if it's already there I didnt see it properly..it'd be just wonderful.
On the whole.. a perfect wedding package!!! :)
